Read MoreMaking investments is something many of us have started and or wish to start exploring. Not only is a great way to offer protection for your saving, it is the best way to make your money work for you. It also means that when it comes to retirement (not that we’re thinking of that yet) you’ll have more than enough funds to live the lifestyle you want.
The problem often lies with the when, where and how when it comes to investing. Stock markets are what comes to mind when making investments, and this may feel daunting. But, you don't need to rely on the stock market in order to make sound investments.
Let’s have a look at some investment opportunities that you may not have considered.
If you have some money to invest already looking at peer to peer lending could be a great first step into the world of lending. It’s a great way to start investing if you don't have huge amounts of cash to play with. Peer to peer lending allows you to lend money to other people with a lowered interest rate compared to a bank and then make a profit back from the interests being paid. It doesn't matter if you can't fund the whole loan either as the people borrowing the money will be funded by several different people at one time and payments made will be divided between the investors.
With so many people now playing browser and mobile games on the move it’s not surprising that people are looking for ways to invest in this. There is a huge opportunity for people to invest in areas such as 4rsgold and funding online accounts. If someone plays these online games on a regular basis it’s not uncommon for them to spend money on them on a monthly basis and even look to have premade accounts to get them started due to the time-consuming start-up of some online worlds.
Ok, so you might not have expected to see this be on the list however investing in yourself, you could see huge returns on the funds you allocate. Depending on your goals it will look different for each and every person. Whether you choose to take classes to develop skills in your existing workplace or think about a side project where you are able to make money on the side, both are really good investments.
Having extra properties that you rent out can be one of the best ways to invest. Yes, it can take a lot of extra work compared to some investment opportunities but the return is also much greater, especially if you have more than one property. If it doesn’t work out and it’s not for you, you always have the option to sell the properties too at times this may be for a profit too. Both commercial and rental properties mean you are likely to get a monthly income if you’re funding the property with a mortgage, you will start to see the benefits once this has been paid off. You’re even able to start this by merely renting out your spare room or basement space.
These are just four different investment ideas to get you started, there are many more. Do you know of any good investment opportunities that should be on this list? Please share them in the comments below.
